LANSDOWNE, Pa— Jay Maurice Miller, 66, passed away on July 11, 2012 at his home in Lansdowne.
Jay grew up on Pinto Road with his twin brother Kay (thought Jay was older by just a hair), two younger brothers Fred and Steve, and parents, Con and Velma. He moved to Philadelphia in his 20’s, where he met his wife Susan, and together they raised a daughter, Joyce. The family remained in Philadelphia where Jay ran an HVAC business for over 25 years, until 2007 when he and his wife moved to Lansdowne during Joyce's last year of college out of state. A devoted father and family member, Jay will be missed.
A memorial will be held Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Rees Chapel United Methodist, New Creek, W.Va. His cremated remains will be brought from Pennsylvania for the service. Friends and family are welcome. Guests will be received at 6 p.m. with services beginning at 7 p.m.
