ROMNEY, W.Va. — Ruby Rosalee Ganoe, 77, of Romney, W.Va., died Jan. 10, 2013 at her residence.
Ms. Ganoe was born on October 6, 1935 in Hampshire County, W.Va., daughter of the late Bud and Carrie Starnes Ganoe.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Davis.
Ms. Ganoe was a member of the Emmanuel House of Prayer.
Ms. Ganoe is survived by her companion, Lloyd Deeds; one sister, Gladys Sharp, Sawyer, Okla.; two nephews, David Davis, Springfield, W.Va. and William Eaton, Okla.; five nieces, Joyce Gillaspie, Burlington, W.Va., Donna Sines, Cresaptown, Carol Getz, Capon Bridge, W.Va., Darlene Taylor, Okla., Carla Rhodes, Okla.; as well as several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at 2 p.m., with Pastor Michael Goldizen officiating.
Interment will be at the Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, W.Va.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, W.Va.
