HAGERSTOWN — Eva Nell Boward, 72, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at her home.
Born May 10, 1940 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Arlie R. and Nellie (Hymes) Nelson.
She attended and graduated from Fort Hill High School, Cumberland.
She was a homemaker and had previously worked at Krumpe's Do-Nuts.
She previously attended Bethel Assembly of God Church and was a Pentecostal by faith.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne C. Boward; children, Timothy Boward, David Boward, Heidi Boward and Joy Boward and family; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Arlene Horst; brothers, Timothy, Granville and Gerald Nelson.
In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by, three children, Chrissy, Rebecca and Scott Boward; two brothers, Ernest and Delbert Nelson; and one sister, Shirley Baughman.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Kenneth Harris officiating.
There will be no visitation.
