BUSHNELL, Fla. — Dorothy Mae Murphy, of Bushnell, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at Leesburg, Fla.
Mrs. Murphy was a domestic engineer. She enjoyed working in her yard and going out to eat. Mrs. Murphy loved country music and was a wonderful wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Murphy of Bushnell; sons, Gary (Louise) Sweitzer of Bushnell, and George (Pam) Sweitzer of Smithsburg; daughter, Vicky Plum of Green Castle, Ind.; step-sons, Tim R. (Bernice) Murphy of Bushnell, and Shawn (Tracy) Murphy of Duncannon, Pa.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her step-son, Scott Murphy.
Visitation was held at the Purcell Funeral Home Chapel, Bushnell, on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at the Purcell Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Don Marshall presiding.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Bushnell.
