CANYON LAKE, Calif. — Patricia C. Knight passed away Oct. 23, 2012 in Canyon Lake.
She was born Dec. 22, 1939 in Cumberland, to Estel and Marguerite Reed.
She lived in Cumberland until she relocated to Torrance, Calif. in 1963. She raised her three children in Torrance, and went to work at Pacific Van Lines as head of accounting from 1978 until she retired in 1996. In 2003, she moved to Canyon Lake to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Patty will be remembered most for her love of family, her incredible smile and her infectious laugh.
She is survived by her three children, Bobby (Karen) Knight of Long Beach, Calif., Jeff (Shelly) Knight of Canyon Lake, and Kimberly Knight of Canyon Hills; 11 grandchildren, Robbie, Sarah, Lucas, Casey, Jessie, Nancy, Janell, Nathan, Kory, Katie (Knights) and Hunter List; four great-grandchildren, Parker, Heaven Lee, Skyler, and Jeffrey Knight; siblings, Eddie and Estel Reed, both of Cumberland, Joe Reed of Long Beach, and Ginny Harper of Lavale. Also many nieces and nephews and a host of long-time friends.
Patty's services were held at Evans Brown Mortuary in Sun City, Calif. on Oct. 29, 2012 and she was laid to rest at Elsinore Valley Cemetery.
