WILMINGTON, N.C. — Lou M. Brenize Culp, 92, of Wilmington, N.C., passed away following a brief period of declining health on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, in Wilmington.
Lou was born on June 11, 1919, in Shippensburg, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Culp Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald P. Culp, of Wilmington, and his son Derik C. Culp, of Florida, and Terry E. Culp, of Frostburg; her daughter, Brenda C. Smith, of Newton, N.C.; grandsons, Capt. Joshua J. Smith, USMC, of Wildomar, Calif., Phillip N. Smith, of Newton, and Joseph B. Smith, of Newton; and great-grandson, Harrison P. Smith, of Wildomar.
The family, as per Lou's request, held a private viewing on Feb. 1, 2012.
