FROSTBURG — Harold John Holsinger, 95, of Honeysuckle Lane, Frostburg, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Frostburg Village Nursing Home, where he was a resident for three months.
Born on Oct. 25, 1917 in Eckhart, he was the son of the late John Andrew Holsinger and Geneva M. (Briner) Holsinger.
He was a member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church, Frostburg. Harold was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II and he also served in the infantry. He retired from Celanese Fiber Corp. after 45 years of working in the coning department.
He is survived by his wife, Louisa (Weisenborne) Hol-singer; a special nephew, Larry Gunter and wife Judith of Chestertown; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
At his request he was cremated and there will be no services.
Inurnment will take place at Porter Cemetery, Eckhart.
