RIDGELEY, W.Va. — Margaret Ruth Rice, 70, of Ridgeley, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Moran Manor.
Born Jan. 20, 1942, in Latrobe, Pa., Mrs. Rice was the daughter of the late Donald Wayne Rush and Dorothy T. (Taylor) Rush. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Walter Russell Rice, May 31, 2007.
Retired from Frostburg State University as a Library Assistant, Margaret was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Erik R. Rice, Ridgeley; and her brother, Vernon W. Rush, Naples, Fla.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 from 10 a.m. until noon.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at noon with the Rev. Sherrill Dillon officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
