ANNANDALE, Va. — Margaret Irene (Stakem) Lowry, 73, of Annandale, Va., formerly of Lonaconing, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Edward Francis Stakem and Althea Stakem; beloved mother of Lois Loraine Lowry, Lester Loren Lowry and Michael Wayne Lowry and sister of former Allegany County Commissioner James Stakem.
She is also survived by grandchildren Michael Wayne Puckett, Kristopher Mason Coolidge, Robin Lauren Hood, Aiden Andrew Lowry, Sean Patrick Lowry, Tyson Lowry and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, Dec. 30, at 12:30 p.m. at Annandale Immanuel United Methodist Church, 7901 Heritage Drive, Annandale, VA 22003.
