RIDGELEY, W.Va. — James “Jimbo” Edward Corwell III, 38, of Ridgeley, W.Va., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at home.
Born Aug. 3, 1974, in Cumberland, he was the son of Jim and Cindy (Brooks) Corwell, Ridgeley.
Jimbo was a graduate of Frankfort High School and had attended Allegany College of Maryland.
He was employed at CSX in the Mechanical Department.
Jimbo was a member of Lodge 271, Loyal Order of Moose. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he could hunt, fish, or go 4 wheeling. He also enjoyed collecting things.
Jimbo had a big heart. He never met a stranger, never met an enemy. If you needed something, he would gladly provide it!
In addition to his parents, Jimbo is survived by his sister, Tracie Koontz and husband Todd, of Bedford, Pa.; three nephews, Brayden, Camden and Ashden, all of Bedford; paternal grandmother, Norma Lee Corwell; step-grandmother, Dolores Brooks; aunts and uncles, Cindy and Ray Johnson, Denny and Patty Corwell, Cathy and Roger Moreland, Pixie Potts, Greg Corwell, Joe Corwell, and Larry and Lana Brooks; great–aunts and uncles, George and Dottie Corwell, Don and Eloise Corwell, Margie Hamilton, Charles Brotemarkle, JoAnn Brote-markle and Ann Brooks; cousins, Jason, Raymond, Mandy, Chad, Shane, Kenny, Corey, Michael, Jason, Tommy, Joey and Crissy; special friend, Shanda; dear friend, Les Hines and his faithful dog, Jack.
Jimbo was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James E. Corwell Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Char-les and Margaret Brooks; and three great-uncles, Dave Ham-ilton, David Brotemarkle and Dick Brooks.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A, 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
The service will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m.
