CUMBERLAND — Jeanne Allen Wilson, 88, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born June 11, 1924, in Cumberland, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Casper S. Brown and Mary Jeanette (Allen) Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Wilson.
A homemaker, Jeanne was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Fort Cumberland Post 13 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Marsha Garrett officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
