FROSTBURG — David A. Minnick Sr., 49, Frostburg, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born June 29, 1963 in Frostburg, to the parents Allen Minnick and Mary (Mire) Minnick. He is preceded in death by his parents.
David was a member of Piney Mountain Hunting Club and the Big Savage Sportsman Club. He was employed by CSX Railroad as a utility worker.
Surviving are his wife, Julie (Westren) Minnick; two stepsons, Mathew and Alex; two stepdaughters, Sarah and Rachael; three sisters, Lorraine Raley and husband Scott, Frostburg, Susan Moyers, LaVale, and Linda Martin and husband Bill, Florida; and son, David Allen Minnick Jr.
A memorial service will be held at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at noon with Pastor Steven Leydig officiating; family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. until noon.
