CUMBERLAND — Timothy Ralph Llewellyn, 57, of Cumberland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at home with his family after a courageous fight with cancer.
Born Sept. 10, 1954, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Herbert “Ralph” Llewellyn and Miriam Virginia (Livengood) Llewellyn. He was also preceded in death by his eldest sister, Jeanne Ricker.
Tim was part of the graduating class of 1972 of Allegany High School. Tim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He worked as a trainman for CSX for over thirty years and was very dedicated to his work.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Lee (Kane) Llewellyn; his eldest daughter, Jessica Rhae Grove and husband Justin; his son, Clinton Ralph Llewellyn; his youngest daughter, Amanda Rochelle Llewellyn; and two granddaughters, Raegan Olivia and Caedence Reece Grove, whom he loved dearly. Also surviving are Tim’s siblings, sister, Bonnie Sterne and husband Chris; brother, Dwight Llewellyn and wife Diane; sister, Lori Llewellyn and husband Luis Lugo; brother-in-law, Jack Ricker; and several nieces and nephews. Timothy was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown (www. scarpellifh.com) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Merle Christner officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
