PIEDMONT, W.Va. — Nellie C. Beckner, 102, of Moran Manor Nursing, formerly of Piedmont, died at the Nursing Home on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2011.
She was born in Luke on June 12, 1910, and was the daughter of the late Augustus White and Estella (Cheshire) Nealis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyman Beckner; and one son, Richard W “Beanie” Beckner. She is the last member of her immediate family
Mrs. Beckner was an active member of Trinity United Methodist in Piedmont. She was the former co-owner of Beckner Precision Machine shop. She was a member of the Calanthe Temple 8 Pythian Sisters, and the Bethleham Chapter 14 , Eastern Star.
She requested a private graveside service which will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2011 with the Rev. Bart Thomas officiating.

MARTHA L. (MCCOY) STAUB
FLORIDA — Martha Lou (McCoy) Staub, 72, passed away February 13, 2012 in Florida.
She was born May 29, 1939 to the late Walter W. McCoy Sr. and Velma Darr McCoy.
She was a 1957 graduate of Bedford High School and a 1962 graduate of Frostburg State.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Staub Jr.
Surviving are five children, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by siblings, Walter W. McCoy Jr., H. Jo Athey, both of Cumerland and David David McCoy and Jon McCoy, both of Bedford, Pa.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 3129 Main St., Manchester.
