FROSTBURG — Derek Deshaies and Aaron O’Rourke scored goals to lift the Green to victory in the boys game, while the girls game ended in a 1-1 draw in the ninth annual M&T; Bank Senior All-Star Classic Sunday afternoon at Mountain Ridge High School.
Girls
Green 1, White 1
Adria Graham scored for the Green team and Shyler Phillips scored for the White. Both goals came in the first half.
Graham, of Northern, the area’s all-time leading scorer, got her goal unassisted.
Phillips, of Mountain Ridge, scored her goal on an assist from Mountain Ridge teammate Kristin Knotts.
The Green led in shots 21-7 and in corner kicks 5-3. Mountain Ridge’s Heather Shipe made 12 saves in goal for the White, while Northern’s Brittany Mallow had three for the Green.
The White team MVPs were Knotts on offense and Shipe on defense. The Green MVPs were Graham on offense and Brittany Whiteman, of Fort Hill, on defense.
The Green team consisted of players from Northern, Fort Hill, Southern, Allegany, Hampshire, Petersburg and Calvary Christian. The White team was made up of players from Mountain Ridge, Frankfort, Bishop Walsh, Meyersdale, Pendleton County and Petersburg.
Boys
Green 2, White 0
Fort Hill’s Derek Deshaies scored on an assist from teammate Brad Tyler for the only first-half goal.
Aaron O’Rourke, of Bishop Walsh, scored unassisted in the second half to make it 2-0.
The White team led in shots 16-14 and the Green led in corner kicks 7-3. Ryan Marchini made five saves in goal for the White, and Daniel Johnson had nine for the Green.
The Green team consisted of players from Northern, Fort Hill, Bishop Walsh, Frankfort, Hampshire and Southern. The White was comprised of players from Mountain Ridge, Allegany, Hyndman, Keyser, Salisbury and Calvary Christian.
The Green MVPs were Jesse Johnson of Hampshire for offense and Daniel Johnson of Fort Hill for defense. The White MVPs were Salisbury’s Justin Bryant on offense and Hyndman’s Jesse Minnick on defense.

Stephanie Fazenbaker had two goals and an assist and Kayla Williams had one goal and an assist to lead the White team to a 7-1 victory over the Green in the girls game of the 10th annual M&T Bank Senior All-Star Classic Sunday at Mountain Ridge High School.
