Northern beats Meyersdale

MEYERSDALE, Pa. — Northern finished of a goal line stand as time expired, denying Meyersdale of a go-ahead touchdown and securing a 13-8 Huskies win, Monday, at Meyersdale.

Aaron Rodeheaver had 12 carries for 86 yards and added three catches for 50 more to lead the Northern offense. He also had a team-high 13 tackles.

Kyle Beard gave Northern a 7-0 lead on a 43-yard run in the first quarter, and had nine tackles and 1 1/2 sacks on defense.

Rodeheaver tallied the winning touchdown by scoring from the two yards in the fourth.

The Huskies remain un beaten at 5-0 and will host Hampshire on Monday.
