KEYSER, W.Va. — Earth Zone owners John D. Cozatt Jr. and Tonya M. Cozatt, both of Ridgeley, are included on the list of the January 2013 term grand jury indictments provided by the Mineral County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
John is facing two counts of accessory to delivery of a controlled substance, five counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy. Tonya is facing seven counts of accessory to delivery of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy. The indictments are based on incidents in October and December 2011. The Keyser detachment of West Virginia State Police tried to pursue a felony case against the Cozatts but federal prosecution was denied.
The samples of suspected synthetic marijuana that state police bought from local businesses and sent to the state police laboratory in Charleston were reported to have a controlled substance in them, Sgt. J.M. Droppleman has previously said.
Earth Zone has locations in both Keyser and Short Gap.
Tyler Christopher King, 26, and Kristina Nicole McKone, 25, were indicted after Keyser Police and state troopers put their methamphetamine lab on North Church Street out of business in December. King and McKone were both charged with exposing children to methamphetamines manufacturing, possession of substance to be used as precursors to manufacture methamphetamines, conspiracy and two counts each of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor.
King was also charged with operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab and McKone with obstructing, misdemeanor.
Brothers Stephen Lee Mayhew Jr., 25, who is incarcerated at the Maryland Correction Center in Baltimore and Dulin Jimmy Mayhew, 20, who is in Henrico County Jail in Richmond, Va., are facing charges for the CVS Pharmacy robbery that occurred in October 2011. Stephen was charged with principal in the second-degree to second-degree robbery and conspiracy. He was also charged with second-degree robbery at Rite Aid in Keyser in October 2011. Dulin is facing charges of second-degree robbery and conspiracy for the CVS robbery.
All the charges listed in the indictments are felony charges unless otherwise noted.

• Steven C. Alt, Keyser, failure to meet an obligation to provide support to a minor.
• Timothy D. Bradley Sr., Huntington, failure to meet an obligation to provide support to a minor.
• Robert Becker, New Creek, three counts of cruelty to animals.
• Joseph Clement Chesterfield, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, third offense domestic battery; obstructing, misdemeanor and battery on a government representative, misdemeanor.
• Kenneth Robert Henderson, New Creek, bringing stolen property into the state, conspiracy, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
• Jeremy Alan Mongold, New Creek, bringing stolen property into the state, conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor.
• Alicia Dawn Lucas, Elk Garden, bringing stolen property into the state, conspiracy, malicious wounding and battery, misdemeanor.
• Brian Keith Kerns, Ridgeley, manufacturing a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
• Michael Leon Sears, II, Keyser, burglary and petit larceny, misdemeanor.
• Crystal Nicole Rymer, Cumberland, malicious wounding.
• James Camden Allen, Jr., Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, a third offense for driving while under the influence of alcohol and a second offense for driving while suspended/revoked for DUI, misdemeanor.
• John Jeremy Willis, Elk Garden, fleeing in a vehicle while DUI, reckless fleeing in a vehicle, fraudulent registration and a second offense for DUI, misdemeanor.
• George Stephen Chenoweth Jr., Piedmont, fraudulent schemes against the Social Security Administration.
• Clinton Jeffrey Barnes, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, breaking and entering of a building other than a dwelling.
• Neil Eugene Bauer, Keyser, delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and manufacturing of a controlled substance.
• Clinton Ervin Crawford, New Creek, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
• Daniel Lee Kesner, Keyser, soliciting a minor via computer.
• Paul Frank Mattes, Keyser, wanton endangerment involving a firearm; domestic assault, misdemeanor and illegally possessing a firearm, misdemeanor.
• Kenneth Wayne Sherman, Moorefield, manufacturing a controlled substance, grand larceny and destruction of property, misdemeanor.
• Robert Lee Suter, III, Keyser, third offense for domestic battery and unlawful restraint, misdemeanor.
• Curtis Lester Hamilton Jr., Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, failure to register or provide a notice of change as a sex offender.
• Ronald Craig Mueller Jr., Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, burglary and grand larceny.
• Dawn Denise Griffin, Elk Garden, delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy.
• Donna Jean Lewis, Terra Alta, attempted possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud; two counts of obtaining possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation fraud; uttering and conspiracy.
• Michael Edwards Staggs, Keyser, failure to meet an obligation to provide support to a minor.
• Mary Martha Keplinger, Ridgeley, embezzlement.
• Tina Marie Mongold, Ridgeley, embezzlement.
• Leo Regis Rodenhauser, Cumberland, reckless fleeing a in a vehicle, two counts of fleeing from an officer causing bodily injury and two counts of fleeing from an officer causing property damage, misdemeanor.
• Jamey Allen Tallman, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail, bringing stolen property into the state.
• Robert W. Dixon, New Creek, two counts of gross neglect of a child, child abuse creating a substantial risk of serious bodily injury and delivering of a controlled substance to a person under the age of 18.
• Jennifer Rose Dixon, New Creek, two counts of gross neglect of a child and child abuse creating a substantial risk of serious bodily injury.
