<NEW>Cumberland, Bedford men charged in drug transactions

— BEDFORD, Pa. — A Cumberland man and Bedford man were both arrested this week following a five-month investigation by the Bedford County Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police, according to the Office of the Bedford County District Attorney.

Devin James, 25, Cumberland, and Aaron Mance Poole, 29, Bedford, were charged Tuesday following the latest drug transaction where undercover agents bought cocaine from Poole. Both James and Poole were in a vehicle stopped by police, who found $250 of the prerecorded money used in the purchase on James and $50 of the money on Poole.

The district attorney said that Poole sold nearly 11 grams of cocaine in three separate transactions beginning Aug. 9 for a total of $750.

Poole was held in the Bedford County Jail on $250,000 bond and James was jailed on $200,000 bond.

Police charged Poole with three counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.

James was charged with possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.
