Katelynn Earnest, a volunteer naturalist at the Rocky Gap State Park Aviary, displays a barred owl that the aviary received about 2 months ago after it was hit by a car. The owl has an injured wing and will spend the rest of her life in captivity, Earnest said. The aviary, at right, recently moved to a new location located in the campground youth group loop.
