CUMBERLAND — The Allegany County Board of Education will consider approving snow makeup days and the acquisition of land adjacent to John Humbird Elementary when it meets in public session Tuesday at 7 p.m.
A public work session will take place at 5 p.m. Both are at the Central Office on Washington Street.
Oother agenda items are:
•Approval of the 2013-2014 school calendar.
•Acceptance of next year’s $110 million operating budget.
•Policy for school emergencies.
•Policy for dealing with sexual offenders.
•Recognition of Elks Americanism essay winner Ethan Adams, all-state musicians and the Mountain Ridge Jazz Orchestra.
