THE SEUSS IS LOOSE

The Mineral County Public Library hosted a Dr. Seuss birthday party on Friday in Keyser, W.Va., where the author’s books were read aloud to children and their parents. Pictured here, Dayla Harvey, a volunteer with United Way, plays “What’s in the Cat’s Hat?” — an homage to Seuss’ title character in his book “The Cat in the Hat” — with Maddox McKenzie, 4, of Keyser.
