Bartender Ed Davis serves a drink to Kari Gomer at the F Bar during the Shamrock Shuffle in Frostburg on Saturday. Seventeen city businesses took part in the second annual event, with each offering different varieties of Irish food, drink and entertainment. The event was designed as a way to boost the local economy. The Shanty Irish band, performers of traditional Irish folk music from the 18th and 19th centuries, performed at four of the participating businesses and donated its proceeds to the Union Rescue Mission. At right, a group of Frostburg State University students and alumni hang out at Hi-Way Pizza.
