LAVALE — A body that was found in a wooded area off Winchester Road early Sunday afternoon has been identified as that of a 25-year-old Cumberland woman, according to the C3I Unit.
The body of Maranda Lynn Bergdoll Glenn has been sent to the Maryland State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
Investigators did not find any obvious signs of trauma to the body, which was fully clothed, when the discovery was made by a citizen in the area of the Garden City Trailer Park at about 12:30 p.m. Troopers responded to the scene and C3I was contacted for assistance.
C3I detectives were assisted by the Allegany County Bureau of Police and evidence collections technicians with the Maryland State Police.
