Inspiring the Imagination! Artist Meg Romero's newest handmade cabinet, Isabella’s Imaginarium, was inspired by a conversation with Marion Leonard about the Imagination Library. It provides private reading space and storage for children’s books. For each piece sold in Allegany County, Meg Romero Studio will make a $300 donation to the program. This gift will provide sponsorship for 10 preschool children to receive one free book each month for an entire year (total of 120 books). Isabella’s Imaginarium is on display in downtown Cumberland at the Fort Cumberland Emporium, and on www.megromerostudio.com. The goal of Allegany County’s Imagination Library is to enhance every child’s love for reading by giving them a free book each month until they are 5 years old.
