Let’s come together and support health care reform

To the Editor:

A recent USA Today article, by John Fritze illustrated the dire economic situation of the nation with regard to how we spend our health care dollars.

Health care costs are out of control and they have grown to over $8,000 per person, and if we do nothing, our spending will double by 2019 to over $16,000 per person.

My employer cannot afford that cost increase, nor can any other employer in the nation. I believe in fiscal responsibility, I want balanced federal budgets, but I know the only way to get a balanced budget is to fix health care.

Urge your senators and members of Congress in either party to vote for health care reform. This is not a problem that will go away. Put the country first and help all our citizens.
