The 2008-2009 fall bowling season has been completed by many leagues and the centers are now actively recruiting for the summer. The summer leagues are one of the best places to try something different in your game. Maybe you should try throwing straighter (if you’re a big hooker) or if you always throw a straight ball, learn to hook it. It may even help to buy a new ball. If that sounds like a good plan be sure to get some advice at a pro shop or from a knowledgeable bowler.
For the older set, the Summer leagues keep the bones moving and helps get you better prepared for next Fall.
I’ll probably skip next week’s column and have one more to finish up most league play. Good luck bowling and have fun striking out!
