Kesner perfect at Wilson Lanes

Rodney Kesner in last Thursday Night Trio League bowled a perfect game and 725 set and the top score at Wilson Lanes for the week. Joe Buff was next high at that center rolling 703/236.

Corey Shirey scored 763/269 at The Bowler and it was the area’s top score for the week. Bob Miller followed rolling 729/255 and Keefe Kaylor scored 717/258.

At White Oak Lanes, Shane Nickleson’s 750/279 was the top mark for the week. Mike Sipple and Troy Smith were next high rolling 726/259 and 723/279, respectively.

Anthony Shillingburg was highest at Rainbow Lanes posting 701/244. Alan Whetzel followed scoring 665/234.

Doug Courtney bowled 630/244 for the week’s high at Sherwood Lanes. Ralph Knieriem and Butch Young were next each scoring 605 sets.

Doug Otto rolled the top score in the PBA Experience League at White Oak Lanes. Otto’s 704/243 was followed by Lou Spataro’s 612/214 and Chad Gable’s 602/206. Autumn Gable bowled 471/202.

Jessica Patch scored 692/236 at White Oaks and was the area’s top lady bowler for the week. Vicki Coughlin was next high at that center rolling 564/193.

Olive Thompson bowled 610/238 and Lou Dille rolled 588/204 and were the top ladies at Rainbow Lanes.

Dawn House’s 598/209 and Gina Rando’s 590/245 were the top ladies’ scores at The Bowler.

Pat Gwizdale bowled 591/221 for the ladies’ high at Wilson Lanes. Melissa Snyder was next rolling 544/191.

Peach Rounds bowled 503/189 at Sherwood Lanes.

Bill Fairgrieve scored 590/226 at The Bowler and was the area’s top senior for the week. Senior Brad Deter rolled 532/184 at White Oak Lanes.

Charles Abernathy was the area’s top youth bowler for the week rolling 656/279 at Rainbow Lanes. Corey Lease bowled 628/224 at White Oaks. Matt Riley rolled 587/221 at The Bowler and Justin Boyer scored 554/198 at Wilson Lanes.

The Regional High Average Tournament was held at White Oak Lanes on March 22. Six games were bowled by the entrants across six separate lane pairs. The top two boys and the top two girls advance to the State tournament. For the boys, Rainbow’s Charles Abernathy placed first rolling 1,093 scratch. Second place was secured by Seth Friend scoring 1,035. First alternate was Nathan Lowery who rolled 1018. Both Friend and Lowery are from The Bowler’s youth program.

For the Girls, Sherwood’s Alison Eller placed first scoring 827. Caitlin Weems from White Oaks was second rolling 817 and the first alternate was Par-Matt’s Staci Fitzwater who bowled 779.
