Cubbage also bowled 733/259 at White Oak Lanes for its high for the week. Adam Blackburn followed rolling 730/262. Greg Smith rolled a 280 game in his 687 set and Rob Shroyer posted a 290 game in his 640 set.
At Sherwood Lanes, Larry Housel Sr. bowled 723/252 for that center's high for the week. John Leptic Jr. was next scoring 660/245.
Shane Nickelson led Wilson Lanes bowlers scoring 718/248. Chuck Parsons was next rolling 716/278.
Randy DiSimone bowled 685/237 for the week's high at Par-Matt Lanes followed by Jeff Meyers' 677/237.
Dudley Sinclair and Rob Riggleman were the Rainbow scoring leaders, bowling 583/195 and 577/248, respectively.
Crystal Uhl bowled 618/210 at The Bowler and was the week's top lady bowler in the area. Liz Fullerton was next, rolling 610/216.
Rainbow's top lady was Pam Brinkman who bowled 611/234. Sandy Hott Followed rolling 580/219.

Darrell Boatman was the area's top senior for the week, rolling a big 246 game and 630 set at The Bowler. Bill Smith III bowled 602/231 at Rainbow and senior Harold Fike rolled 563/170 at Par-Matt Lanes. Ed Hudgins bowled 473/176 at White Oak Lanes.

The PBA's Tournament of Champions was televised last Sunday and Michael Haugen Jr. defeated Chris Barnes in the final match in a surprising finish. With a 50-pin lead Barnes lost his carry in the seventh frame leaving the ten pin. When he missed a 10-pin spare in the ninth frame, he just barely opened the door for Haugen. Barnes, with a double in the 10th, could shut him out. That didn't happen. Barnes got nine and a spare then needed a strike to tie but then left the 4-pin standing and lost by one pin.
In the first match, Pete Weber lost to Ryan Shafer 215-213. Barnes then defeated Shafer 257-205.
Good luck bowling and have fun striking out!
