We got news this week about Wilson Lanes’ Amanda Greene, a freshman on a bowling scholarship, at Lindenwood College. She made the final group of 16 top girl bowlers that will compete for the USBC Collegiate Singles Championship. She qualified third rolling a six-game total of 1,217 at the Chattanooga Sectional last weekend. There were four sectionals and each one placed four boys and four girls to the finals to be held in Euless, Texas, May 17-18. At the finals, they will bowl eight games to determine seeding for single elimination match play that will consist of a best of five for each match. That is some pretty tough competition and we wish her well. The fact that she made the cut as a freshman is a great accomplishment in itself. Congratulations!

Good luck bowling and have fun striking out!
