HANCOCK — Winning pitcher Molly Look went 4-for-5 to lead fourth-ranked East Hardy to a 23-6 win over Hancock in high school softball Wednesday evening.
Look allowed two earned runs, four hits, struck out three and walked six to get the win. At the plate, she drove in four runs by hitting three doubles and a triple. Emily Biller added a double and single.
East hardy got rolling early with six runs in the first inning, and led 11-1 after two innings.
East Hardy (13-3) plays at Pendleton today at 5 p.m.

CRESAPTOWN — Kara Hotchkiss singled home Lindsie Linaburg in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Allegany to a 4-3 victory over Mountain Ridge in junior varsity softball on Monday.
Stephanie Dawson was the winning pitcher and had 12 strikeouts. Taylor Dudiak had two singles to lead a nine-hit attack for Allegany. Sarah Hughes and Liz Diamond had two singles for Mountain Ridge, which had seven hits.
Alexa Sivic had a two-run single in the Allegany first inning, but the Campers were held scoreless over the next six innings. Mountain Ridge tied it 2-2 on a two-run single by Diamond in the top of the sixth. In the eighth,
Allegany hosts Moorefield today and Mountain Ridge plays at Fort Hill on Friday.
