HYNDMAN, Pa. — Derek Fuller scored the first half goal and Sam Dusenberry got the goal in the second half as Allegany opened the season with a 2-0 win over Hyndman Friday afternoon.
Neal Morgan assisted Fuller on the first goal, and Dusenberry got his goal unassisted. The Campers outshot the Hornets 14-8, and led 6-2 in corner kicks.
Allegany goalie Scott Long made four saves in the shutout, and Dan Wisnewski made eight for Hyndman.
Allegany has Bishop Walsh on Saturday, Sept. 11 in its home opener. Hyndman play at Fannet-Metal on Wednesday.

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Frankfort scored six straight goals sandwiched between two from Berkeley Springs and the Falcons improved to 3-1 by beating the Indians Thursday evening.
Shelby Kinder scored unassisted to give Berkeley a 1-0 lead. From there Frankfort would score twice by the end of the first half with Kayla Sentelle taking an assist from Morgan Turley, both freshmen, to tie the score, and Bria Welker getting an unassisted goal to make it 2-1.
Sentelle scored her second goal to kick off the second half, and Welker was assisted by Julie Howser to push the score to 4-1. The final two Frankfort goals came from Veronica Boden, unassisted, and Turley, assist from Corlyss Peer, before Alexis Roberts got the Indians’ final point.
The Falcons held a 21-9 advantage in shots, while the teams were tied in corner kicks with five apiece. Steffani Shingle made five stops in Frankfort’s goal, and Angie Brady made six for Berkeley Springs.
Frankfort will play Northern at home today at 12:30.
