Will new Hate Crime law only open a huge can of worms?
To the Editor:
With President Obama about to sign the Hate Crime Bill into law, I would like to know what is the true definition of sexual orientation and it’s meaning?
I understand the word sexual, but Webster’s New Explorer Dictionary defines orientation as 1: set in a definite position; 2: acquaint with situation, and situation means 1: location, 2: condition; 3: job.
Now, without being vulgar or sympathetic to child molesters, doesn’t this bill mean that these sexual orientations (condition) will be protected by this new law? What if P.E.T.A. or the Humane Society were to catch people having sex with animals, will they be protected, because that’s there sexual orientation (condition)?
Polygamists with multiple wives, some under 18, will this law stop the discrimination against them, because of their sexual orientation (condition)?
What about rapists, could that some think gives them the freedom to have sex with anyone or anything?
Now, if I or others disagree with this, will the law silence or violate our freedom of speech? I believe that this President, House, Senate, left wing, and secular lunatics have opened up a huge can of worms that’s going to lead to discrimination law suits from every group that will claim hate against their sexual orientation (condition). Do any of you fools understand or care what you have done?
