CUMBERLAND — Amelia Dawn Wentling and Shawn Christopher Bennett, along with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Karen Shriver, Cumberland, Mr. and Mrs. Chris and Tonya Bennett, Cumberland, and Tonya Bennett, Cumberland, would like to announce their engagement.
Amelia is a 2010 graduate of Allegany College of Maryland, with an associate’s degree of applied science in criminal justice. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland University College and plans to graduate this spring.
Shawn is a 2011 graduate of the Maryland State Police Training Academy and is employed with the Maryland State Police in Westminster.
The couple will be wed on June 15, 2013, at the LaVale United Methodist Church. The reception is to follow immediately at Maplehurst Country Club in Frostburg.
