KEYSER, W.Va. — Leon and Kathy Ravenscroft, Keyser, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Katherine Ravenscroft, to Matthew Jerome Altobello, son of Jerry and Beverly Altobello, Washington, Pa.
Emily is the granddaughter of the late Fred and Leona Tettenburn and Don and Hazel Ravenscroft.
Matt is the grandson of Jackie Altobello, Keyser, and the late Joe Altobello and James and Kay Lindsay.
Emily is a 2007 graduate of Keyser High School. She will graduate in May from the West Virginia University College of Human Resources and Education, with a master’s degree in elementary and special education.
Matt is a 2004 graduate of Keyser High School. He is a 2010 graduate of Marshall University, earning a master’s degree in secondary education. He also was a five-year member of the Thundering Herd football team, serving as a captain his final year. He is employed as a math teacher in Cabell County. Additionally, he is an assistant football coach at Cabell Midland High School,
The couple is planning a June 2013 wedding. Formal invitations will be sent.
