Delicia Burkett, Keith Harden to wed


HYNDMAN, Pa. — Delicia Burkett and Keith Harden are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Delicia is the daughter of Daniel and Denise Burkett of Hyndman. Her maternal grandparents are Robert Picard and Cecile Duquette, both of Nashua, N.H., and her paternal grandmother is Marilyn Burkett of Hyndman.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Foxcroft Academy and an alumni of Boston University. She is currently attending Penn State Altoona to obtain a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Delcia is a first responder with the Hyndman Area Rescue Squad.

Keith is the son of Kenneth and Kay Harden. His maternal grandparents are John and Jean Schaffer of Hyndman and his paternal grandmother is Mae Speelman of Ellerslie, Md.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Hyndman Middle-Senior High School and a graduate of Triangle Tech, with an associate’s degree in welding and fabrication. He is currently employed by L.B. Foster as a welder. Keith is a volunteer firefighter with the Hyndman Volunteer Fire Department and also is a first responder with Hyndman Area Rescue Squad.

A July 3, 2010 wedding is planned.
