CUMBERLAND — Together with their parents, Ashley Nicole Miles and Mark Lee Gerrard are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Ashley is the daughter of Terri and David Holsinger and Elmer “Bud” and Tina Miles both of Cumberland. She is the granddaughter of JoAnn Michael and the late Donald “Mike” Howard Michael and the late Audrey and Elmer Miles.
Mark is the father of two wonderful little girls, Farah Noel and Victoria Rose. He is the son of Carol and Terry Mellott and Richard “Rick” Gerrard, both of Clarksburg, W.Va. He is the grandson of the late Junior and Alice “Josephine” Gerrard and the late Edward “Tink” and Wilma Gower.
Ashley is a 2004 graduate of Allegany High School and a 2006 graduate of Allegany College of Maryland, with an associate’s degree in nursing. She is employed by West Virginia University Hospitals as a registered nurse in the Maternal Infant Care Center.
Mark is a 2000 graduate of Liberty High School. He is currently serving as a staff sergeant in the Untied States Air Force.
The couple is planning a small and intimate wedding that will take place Dec. 12, 2009, on the bay in Virginia Beach, Va
A shower is being planned in the couple’s honor in November.
The couple will reside on Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Va.
