CORRIGANVILLE — Together with their parents, Jill Christine Shaffer and Duncan Merriwether Granger would like to announce with great joy their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Jill is the daughter of John Shaffer, Corriganville, and Christine Delaney, also of Corriganville. Duncan is the son of Julia M. Arnold and the late Edward G. Granger, III of Lancaster, Pa.
Jill is a 1997 graduate of Mount Savage High School, a 2001 graduate of Frostburg State University and a 2004 graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she earned a master’s degree in social work and management, specializing in employee assistance programs. She is currently employed at First Advantage as a senior EAP account executive.
Duncan is a 1988 graduate of The Asheville School in Asheville, N.C., a 1993 graduate of Emory and Henry College in Emory, Va., and a 1995 graduate of Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, where he earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology. He is currently employed at MHNet as an EAP account manager.
The couple currently resides in Austin, Texas. A November wedding at the Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin is being planned.
