CUMBERLAND — Bob and Cathy Tichnell of Cumberland, and Bill and Cathy Kline of Bel Air are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Lara Louise Tichnell and Aaron John Kline.
Miss Tichnell is the granddaughter of Helen Tichnell of Cumberland and the late Arnold “Ping” Tichnell, and the late Herb and Mary Louise Triplett.
Mr. Kline is the grandson of Bill and Grace Kline, Bedford, Pa., and the late Gerald X. and Alice Lee “Babe” Miller.
Miss Tichnell is a 2005 graduate of Allegany High School. She also is a 2009 graduate of Bethany College, Bethany, W.Va. Lara received a bachelor of arts degree in communication, with a focus in electronic media. She is currently employed as an account executive by Forever Broadcasting in Hollidaysburg, Pa.
Mr. Kline is a 2006 graduate of Allegany High School. He is attending St. Francis University and will graduate in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree in biology and a minor in neuroscience. Aaron has been accepted into the doctoral program of physical therapy at SFU.
No date has been set for the wedding.
