FROSTBURG — Kenneth and Lynn Fike of Frostburg are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carey Elizabeth, to Cornell Olin Williams.
Carey is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Enid Kennedy of Frostburg, and Lilly Fike and the late Ray Fike of Finzel.
Cornell is the son of Joan Williams of Locust Valley, N.Y. and Carroll Williams of Woodbridge, Va.
Carey graduated from Beall High School, Wingate University, and Ohio University with a master’s degree in physical education — athletic training. She is currently a health and physical education teacher and certified athletic trainer for Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia.
Cornell is a graduate of the McDonogh School and Ithaca College (N.Y.) with a bachelor of science degree in health and physical education. He is also employed by FCPS as a health and physical education teacher and a football coach. Carey and Cornell reside in Manassas, Va., and will be married at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nev., on March 23, 2013.
