CUMBERLAND — Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mathews of Cumberland and Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Mills of Latrobe, Pa., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Melanie Ann Mathews and David Stephen Mills.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mathews, Cumberland, and Mrs. Margaret Bailey of Cumberland and Ligonier, Pa., and the late Gilbert R. Bailey. She is a 2005 graduate of Allegany High School and a 2009 graduate of Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa., with a bachelor’s of science degree in environmental science. She is currently attending Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pa., in pursuit of a master’s of science degree in environmental science and management.
Her fiancé is the grandson of Mrs. Kathleen Pride, Avonmore, Pa., and the late Spencer Pride, and Mr. Courter Mills, Pittsburgh, and the late Martha Mills. David is a 2005 graduate of Greater Latrobe Area High School, Latrobe, and a 2009 graduate of Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa., with a bachelor’s of science degree with honors in neuroscience. He is enrolled at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa..
A July 2010 wedding will take place in Cumberland. Invitations will be sent.
