SALEM, Ohio — John and Gayle Rhodes of Salem are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandie K. Rhodes, to Joseph A. Grove Jr., son of Joseph and Karen Grove Sr. of Nitro, W.V.
The bride-elect graduated from United Local High School in 2005 and Pittsburgh Technical Institute in 2007 with an associates of science degree in graphic design. She currently is a graphic designer/catalog manager for JP Enterprises Unlimited Inc. in Lawrence, Pa. She is the granddaughter of James and Jean Rhodes of Salem and Walter and Velma Frantz of Lisbon.
The prospective bride-groom is a 2005 graduate of Poca High School and a 2007 graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an associates of science degree in electronic engineering. He is currently employed at Control Design Inc. as an electronic engineer in Pittsburgh, Pa. He is the grandson of Lawrence and Mary Lou Grove of Corriganville, Md., and Doris Konzal, LaVale, and the late Robert Konzal.
The couple is planning a private double-ring ceremony to be held at 4:30 p.m. July 4 at the Trinity Friends Church in Lisbon. Invitations will be issued for the reception to follow at the Trinity Friends Church Family Life Center.
