MOUNT SAVAGE — Cassie Michele Shank and William Beale Rock IV, together with their parents, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Cassie is the daughter of Beverley Shank of Mount Savage and Michael Shank of Corriganville. She is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth Burley of Ellerslie and the late Pat and Nina Bowen of Corriganville. The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Beall High School and received her associates degree in dental hygiene from Allegany College of Maryland in 2007. Cassie is currently employed by Dr. William Tompkins in LaVale and Dr. Jeffrey K. Rhodes in Cumberland.
Will is the son of William and Gail Rock III of Friendsville. He is the grandson of Mary Anne Scheckel and the late Robert William Scheckel of Preston, Iowa., and William and Mabel Rock Jr. of Alexandria, Va. The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Northern High School and received his associates degree in general studies from Garrett Community College in 2005. He is currently employed by UPS in Cumberland.
A July 18, 2009, wedding is being planned. Invitations will be sent.
