CUMBERLAND — Mr. and Mrs. Lee Rhodes, Cumberland, are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Erin Renae, to James Edward Barrett III, son of Mr., and Mrs. James E. Barrett Jr., Cumberland.
Erin is a 2004 graduate of West Virginia University and a 2008 graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College, where she received a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Erin is currently employed by University Health Associates in Morgantown, W.Va. Erin works as a surgical physician assistant in the Cardiothoracic Department of Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Jimmy was a 1999 third-round draft pick of the Houston Astros. He played minor league baseball for six years until suffering a shoulder injury during his last season. Jimmy is currently attending Allegany College of Maryland, pursuing a degree in physical therapy assistant studies.
The outdoor wedding ceremony will take place at Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa, Morgantown, on June 27, 2009. A cocktail hour and dinner reception will immediately follow.
