SALISBURY, Pa. — Michael and Sharon Tuck of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shana Nicole Tuck, to Jamey Lee Durst, son of Randall and Jennifer Durst of Grantsville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mary Beeman and the late George Beeman of Boynton. Her paternal grandparents are the late Ollie and Juniata Tuck of Salisbury.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Shirley Yommer and the late Richard Yommer of Jennings. His paternal grandparents are the late Garland and Roma Durst of Grantsville
Shana is a 2006 graduate of Salisbury Elk-Lick High School and a 2008 graduate of the Somerset County Technology Center’s LPN program. She is currently employed at the Allegany County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a licensed practical nurse.
Jamey is a 2004 graduate of Northern Garrett High School and a 2008 graduate of Frostburg State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry. Jamey is currently employed by the state of Maryland with the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
Shana and Jamey will be married Jan. 3, 2010, onboard Carnival Sensation in Port Canaveral, Fla.
