CUMBERLAND — Steve and Beth Helmick of Cumberland are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Marie, to Phylip Richard Ohler, son of Sharon Ohler.
Jessica is a 2003 graduate of Fort Hill High School and received her associate of science degree in respiratory care in 2006 from Allegany College of Maryland. She is currently employed at West Virginia University Hospital.
Phylip is a 2001 graduate of Allegany High School and received his associate’s degree in computer science from Allegany College of Maryland in 2003. Phylip continued his education by receiving a bachelor’s degree in the field of biology from Frostburg State University in 2007 and is currently pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree at Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy.
The couple will wed on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Pinto Mennonite Church, Pinto.
