SHORT GAP, W.Va. — Mr. and Mrs. Earl Farris of Short Gap are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Viola, to Thomas Bryan Drvar of Morgantown.
Amy is a 2003 graduate of Frankfort High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She is currently working on her master’s degree in social work and will be graduating in May 2009 from WVU.
Thomas is the son of Barbara K. Drvar and Mike Drvar both of Morgantown. He is a 2003 graduate of Morgantown High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University, with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Thomas will graduate with his master’s in social work in May 2010 from WVU.
Amy and Tom will be married Aug. 8, 2009, at Spruce Street United Methodist Church, Morgantown. A reception will be held at the Ramada Inn, Morgantown.
