CUMBERLAND — Together with their families, Adrianne Jean Moffett and William Paul Minard III are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moffett of Cumberland. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William “Tom” Turley and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Moffett.
The groom-to-be is the son of Ms. Jane Minard of Clarkton, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. William Minard II of Sanford, N.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Gooden and Mr. Charles Minard.
Adrianne is a 1995 graduate of Fort Hill High School and a 1998 graduate of Frostburg State University, with a bachelor's of science degree in elementary education. She also earned her master’s degree in reading from FSU in 1999. She is employed with the Mineral County Board of Education as a first grade teacher at Keyser Primary Middle School and with the University of Phoenix as an online instructor.
Bill is a 1989 graduate of Clarkton High School and a 1994 graduate of Methodist University, with a bachelor's of science degree in business. He also earned his master’s degree in kinesiology from Sul Ross State University in 1997. He is employed as the offensive line football coach and recruiting coordinator at Frostburg State University.
An April 2009 wedding is being planned. Invitations will be sent.
