CUMBERLAND — Mr. Fred and Mrs. Sharon Squires of Cumberland and Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Rebecca Moore of Fuquay Varina, N.C., joyfully announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Heather Squires and Ethan Moore.
Heather is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred “Skip” Squires and Mrs. Elva Berry and the late Mr. Benjamin “Bud” Berry. She is a 2001 graduate of Fort Hill High School, Cumberland, and a 2005 graduate of North Carolina State University. She currently resides in Alpharetta, Ga., and is employed as a special education teacher for Gwinnett County Public Schools. Heather is completing her master’s degree in special education at Georgia State University.
Ethan is the grandson of Mrs. Amelia “Millie” Moore and the late Mr. Henry “Hank” Moore of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Eleanor Swauger and the late Mr. Ralph Swauger of Hagerstown. He is a 1996 graduate of Fuquay Varina High School, Fuquay Varina, and a 2004 graduate of North Carolina State University. Ethan currently resides in Alpharetta and is employed by The Hartford Life Insurance Company.
The wedding ceremony will take place on May 30, 2009, at the Maggie Valley Resort in Maggie Valley, N.C. Invitations will be sent.
