BARTON — Tom and Amy Patton are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Megan Elizabeth Patton, to Sidney Mac Bittinger, son of Dwight and Deborah Bittinger of Midland.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Francis “Sonny” and Evelyn Trenum of Barton, the late Alex Patton, and Jean Patton of Lonaconing.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Robert McMillan of Midland and the late Rosemary McMillan, the late Harry Bittinger and Lavada Bittinger of Rawlings.
Megan is a 2005 graduate of Westmar High School and is currently attending Frostburg State University. She will graduate in May, receiving her bachelor’s of science degree in mathematics with a concentration in secondary education.
Sid is a 2002 graduate of Westmar High School and a 2005 graduate of Frostburg State University, with a bachelor’s of science degree in law and society. He is currently employed by the Maryland State Police, stationed in Westminster.
The couple is currently making plans for their wedding that will take place on June 20, 2009. The wedding will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Frostburg. Invitations will be sent.
