SPRINGFIELD, W.Va. — Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Mark Smith of Springfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Megan Smith, to Mr. Stephen Ray McBride, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Scott McBride of Augusta.
Becky is a 2004 graduate of Hampshire High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University, with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in elementary education at West Virginia University.
Stephen is a 2003 graduate of Hampshire High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University, with a bachelor’s degree in social work. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration. He is employed by Lowe’s in Morgantown as a team leader.
A September wedding is being planned.
